HORSE LEASING
Our leasing program was designed for committed riders who want to deepen their knowledge, refine their skills, and build a true partnership with a horse. Unlike traditional riding schools, where horses are ridden by different people every week, we believe in providing consistency for both horse and rider. This approach fosters a stronger bond, greater trust, and a more rewarding experience for everyone involved.
At Heartland, leasing is about more than just time in the saddle. Based on testimonials from our riders, the real magic lies in the care, community, and support that comes with being part of our program. You’ll be learning in a friendly, non-judgmental environment where encouragement is second nature, and success, big or small, is celebrated together. This sense of camaraderie is what makes Heartland such a special place to ride.
Unlike other lease arrangements, our horses are highly educated and continue their development under professional guidance. They work in a correct frame, perform lateral movements, and are consistently trained to maintain their progress.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
- Each horse has its own fitted saddle, bridle, and rugs.
- Personal lockers are available for riding gear.
- Each horse is shared with a maximum of one other rider, with a flexible riding roster.
- Vet, farrier, and dental costs are covered by Heartland.
- Take your leased horse to external clinics, ladies’ days, or competitions.

- Dedicated hangout area with a kitchen and deck overlooking the dam.
PRICING
Lease Trial Lesson: $160/hour
1 Month Lease Trial: $360 per week GST inclusive
3 Month Lease: $340 per week GST inclusive
6 Month Lease: $300 per week GST inclusive
